The companies founded by András Lénárd generate annual revenues of tens of millions of euros while providing stable livelihoods for several hundred people — not only in the region, but beyond it as well.
Dracula Park Transylvania is a theme park concept inspired by the rich historical and cultural heritage of Transylvania. Our goal is to create a consistently designed, medieval-style world where visual design, storytelling, and experiences complement each other to form a unified atmosphere.
Dracula Park is a planned theme park that combines elements of Central and Eastern European folklore, historical traditions, and contemporary entertainment. The project aims to create a complex tourist attraction offering year-round experiences for families, young people, and international visitors alike. The park’s concept is built on storytelling, atmosphere, and experience-based entertainment, while placing strong emphasis on the region’s cultural values.
More than 300 specialists are working on the preparation and design of Dracula Park. International and local engineers, designers, and experts are contributing to a coordinated, long-term development.
Three offices are involved in designing the park: the renowned Zamperla (Italy), Team Park Project (Italy), and an architectural office from Bucharest. Together they are responsible for the attractions, theming, and the overall architectural concept.
Dracula Park will be developed on an area of nearly 30 hectares. Plans include more than 50 themed buildings, unique attractions, and a cohesive experience world with a historical atmosphere.
Dracula Park is not a traditional amusement park, but a unified historical world. The buildings, spaces, and attractions all fit into a theme inspired by medieval Transylvania, where architecture, visual design, and visitor experience reinforce one another. Every detail is created based on a carefully designed concept, allowing visitors to truly feel as if they have stepped into another era.
Dracula Park aims to provide shared experiences for families, young people, and older visitors alike. In designing the park, the focus is not only on entertainment, but also on stories, atmosphere, and shared experiences. It is envisioned as a place people will want to return to again and again.
András Lénárd is the dreamer and initiator of Dracula Park Transylvania. The project aims to create a theme park in Miercurea Ciuc inspired by Transylvania’s historical world, contributing in the long term to the region’s tourism and economic development.
Lénárd András has been developing long-term, value-driven projects based on his own strategic concepts for more than two decades. Over time, these investments have become influential across multiple economic sectors. His projects are typically launched as greenfield developments, with his active leadership spanning from initial concept and strategic planning through financing, implementation, market launch, and ongoing operation.
He is the initiator and founder of Csíki Sörgyár and Csíki Csipszgyár, both of which have become significant players in their respective markets. Csíki Sörgyár is one of the most prominent craft breweries in the country and the region, while Csíki Csipsz ranks among the leading independent chip producers in the area.
These investments have not only created industrial capacity but have also enabled local raw materials, products, and services to reach national and international markets. The projects have generated substantial local economic value and contributed to the creation of several hundred jobs.
His name is associated with the development of multiple run-of-river hydroelectric power plants. These investments represent modern, sustainable, and environmentally responsible energy production, providing stable and predictable long-term value.
Under his leadership, large-scale residential developments have been completed in Harghita County, creating modern and livable environments for local communities.
He is also associated with the establishment of a successful hotel operating in Budapest’s Castle District, as well as the development and renovation of several high-value properties serving tourism, industrial, and residential purposes.
His activities extend into technological innovation. The drone technology company he founded and operated set a world record in 2012, demonstrating that local engineering expertise and entrepreneurial vision can achieve internationally recognized results.
In the early 2000s, he participated in the development and sale of a nationwide casino network, which achieved significant market presence within a short period.
His portfolio also includes investments in agriculture, supporting sustainable farming practices and long-term production development.
The companies founded by András Lénárd generate annual revenues of tens of millions of euros while providing stable livelihoods for several hundred people — not only in the region, but beyond it as well.
This video shows the current stage of Dracula Park Transylvania’s development. The theme park is currently in the design phase — a stage where there is still limited on-site activity, but key professional decisions are being made. An international team is working on the project, and the building permit is expected to be obtained in the coming months.
